ICS (.10) issues so far

hi all,

these are a list of the annoying issues I had since upgraded to ICS. I say annoying because they don't prevent me from using the phone but neither give me the "sensation" of a well engineered product (one you would advise a friend to buy, to be clear ).

I have the SI: 1264-7018 and build number 6.1.1.B.1.10.

(always) Camera focus speed: camera focus time is very very slow compared to my old X10 Mini pro, and also to My father Xperia Ray

(always) Camera focus lost: sometimes (not often really), also after waiting for some time, the photos are out of focus

(always) Camera quality: the sensor has a very bad quality with low light (completely uncomparable with Xperia Ray)

(sometimes) GSM Signal Lost: sometimes, after passing from zones where there is no signal to covered zones the phone doesn't regain the signal (most of times it happens when I go to office and enter into the garage, when I sit at my office desk I find out that the signal is zero), I have to restart the phone in order to get the signal back

(sometimes) Dialer Button: often when I click to the dialer button the UI shows the address book

(sometimes) Call Answer: sometimes (it happened twice since I have the phone) when someone calls me, I use the slider to answer, the phone turns off the screen instead of answering, I turn it on again and the phone continues ringing but the slider has disappeared thus preventing me from answering the phone

(sometimes) Phone freezed (it happened 2 or 3 times): complete unresponsiveness: I have to push the "up volume" +Power to reset the phone

(always) Battery Indicator: usually when the battery goes to 2 or 3% at evening, if you don't use it for a while the battery indicator goes back to 10% or more (as evidenced in another thread)

(always) Internal speaker Call quality: call quality with internal speaker compared to other phones (Samsung, other Sony models) is very bad, but I would impute this to the water resistant feature, so I think not much can be done on this

I hope this .54 or .74 solve some of these issues, cause I'm very seriously thinking to sell the phone and buy another product.

Regards

Cristiano

I suggest that you try to run a software reinstall using SUS.

http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/update-service/

If the problem still remains you should contact your local support team, to have the phone examined and fixed at an repair center.

http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/support/contact-us/contact-info/
