Saving problem with Excel, Words

I cannot use the Xperia J as an external SD (as I can do this easily with other smartphone). I Can't copy Excel or Words documents to Xperia J from the PC directly. I can open an Excel file from the Xperia J folder, but can't save it after the contents edited. It seems that all these files are treated as Read-only. Could anyone suggest how to solve this problem? Thank you.

you need to get OfficeSuite PRO ( the paid version) or use Google Docs (free)

Hi, thank you for prompt suggestions. However, can I use the Xperia just like an external drive? I would like to open the excel file from my desktop, and save it after editing. I have another software which can be run from external SD, I can do this with another smartphone but not Xperia. Thank you.

yes you can > perhaps you are missing the drivers, install PC Companion or Sony Update service and try again

go to Computer > Xperia J > internal storage > voila
