C510 - HOTMAIL access suddenly stopped working... heart rate suddenly started increasing.

I have a C510. I've accessed all my Hotmail accounts successfully for about 6 months - but now it's suddenly stopped accessing Hotmail. Apart from calls, email is the thing I most use the phone for!

When I click 'MSN Mail' (or try to access Hotmail through Google), the connect bar remains empty (no increasing green line),

and the circle of 'connect dots' just goes around and round. It will not connect to Hotmail. No message giving a reason why.

I haven't changed any settings so I've no idea why I cannot access Hotmail anymore.

Any ideas or tips how to get Hotmail access again?

If you can access other websites OK, it's very likely to be a problem with Hotmail and not your phone.

Hi, yes, thanks. It's actually a problem with Sony Ericsson phones accessing Hotmail. Hotmail changed their

settings recently and apparently there is something about Sony phones that cannot cope with the new settings

- I was told this by Sony Ericsson via their official site.

Sony's only suggestion was to type 'Windows live mail mobile' into Google and try access Hotmail this way. But it

doesn't work for me. I still cannot access the Hotmail site.

Anyone else have any other suggestions for getting access to emails from Hotmail through a Sony phone?

Try using your phone's email client, so you need to set up your Hotmail account and then you can access your emails without using the browser.My Hotmail(live) account works fine this way on my W995, but can't even access Hotmail.com on the browser over Wi-Fi.
