Problem on my Sony Experia Tipo single-sim

Hey,

I just bought my xperia tipo almost 4 months ago.

and this is my problem:

Everything is fine except for the rectangular red light blinking on my screen display.

This only happens when I'm on the "Messaging" menu.

I got the same problem previously and I have resolved this by simply updating the software phone via Sony PC Companion.

But this time, it hadn't worked. What else can I do? I haven't tried doing factory reset and I dont want to

Is there another solution for this problem? Please advice.

You could check if it still remains if you use another SIM card? Let me know how it goes.
