Vivaz Pro - Cannot Save Text Messages

I am unable to export the text messages from my phone's inbox to my computer. The reasons for this is because they do not show up while using Sony PC Companion. Nothing shows up, it thinks everything except for some old sent messages don't exist. There are over 4000 messages it won't see! I tried moving all the messages from the inbox into a seperate folder in the phone and that folder won't even show up as existing according to PC Companion.

My phone is up to date with the latest software. If I try to update it again it will wipe out the phone. I've re-installed Sony PC Companion, it still won't see my text messages. I've also tried MyPhoneExplorer which has the same issue, it isn't seeing any text messages from the phone. Everything else works just fine. I want to save my messages and clear up my phone's memory. I'd appreciate the help.

I'm using Windows XP if that matters any?

Have you moved your messages to the SD card?

Have you tried to backup all your data using the in-built backup tool then reinstall the phone software using SUS?
