line drops frequently

while using the phone directly connected to my ear I often experience line dropping.

In order to avoid line drops I have to set the phone tightly pressed against the head.

This never happens while using earphones.

I updated the Xperia GO to ICS some weeks ago.

Can you please clarify if you are using any form of screen protector or cover? as this these can cover the sensor causing the screen to stay on instead of turning off when pressed against the ear.

What are your thoughts about this forum? Let us know by doing this short survey.

nope, no cover of any kind setup till now.

I have the same problem. Most of the times sensor does not respond and when i press the phone to my ear it disconnects the current call.

My friend has the same problem. We both have Sony Xperia Go.

There is only one solution which is actually not to prevent this. when you start the call lock the screen.(but this is annoying)

Oh and no screen protectors or anything .

same "backup solution" for me, quite annoying
