What's the best camera app for SK17i?

Hi Guys,

I am currently searching for a new camera app that would enhance my camera/photo shoots. So far I have been using Camera 360.

Mind if you share your own apps too? What are the Pros and Cons?

Try Camera FV-5. You can save your shots even in lossless png format (100% jpg is also available. However, jpg is not lossless due to 2x2 chroma subsampling in Sony mobile phones).

Other apps provide you with nice-to-have blings only.

You can try also Camera ICS +

I noticed that often this application take a photo with smaller ISO compared with stock app. Its not always the better thing , but for now I find it very good application.

Yeah, I also was happy noticing the smaller ISO using both Camera FV-5 and Camera ICS + but finally I decided to buy FV-5 due to its lossless png feature.

Other must-have photo apps are

HDR Camera+
Night Camera+
CamScanner - Phone PDF Creator

Paid versions do worth.

Unfortunately, the camera driver is the bottleneck.

In GB, video provides nice stereo sound but photos seem to be oversaturated/oversharpened and 2x2 subsampling makes jpegs quality worse.
In ICS, video is lagging, sound is mono by default, some user reports minor improvement in photo quality.
No official JB expected for 2011 Xperias. Currently available custom ROMs provide less lagging than in ICS and a bit better photo quality but there is no FM radio at all - although Sony published the source code for radio, see http://developer.sonymobile.com/downloads/code-example-module/fm-radio-for-the-2011-xperia-phones/
