Volume Rocker - Shutter Button Issues

Hello everybody. I've just received my new Xperia S in white today. Problem is the rocker volume and the shutter button dont work;

Is it Because i dont have a microSim instaled (yet)? i tried to press the Shutter Button while in lock mode and sometimes it works but with some delay, giving the message on the screen something like "memory error "or what...but that happened only liek 2 times. The rest of the time it doesnt work; the Rocker volume does not work neither in youtube or in the mainscreen. Help please...i find it quite frustrating to go so wrong like this with a new Phone.

it might be the internal memory acting up or a bug, you could repair your phone with SUS or PCC or do a factory reset (make sure to backup everything pictures, videos, music, contacts, etc)
