I've plugged it into the laptop, gone to the sony support website and selected update->xperia P->check for update, which runs a java app that finds the update and states it's available. Then I press the [download] button I get a rather uninformative error message stating "cannot download the update" (see attached). My internet connection is good and I have temporarily deactivated my norton firewall, but the problem persists.
