I have installed Compass apps .those are not showing the directions(N/E/S/W)....

If any one tried this apps in Xperia Tipo, plz let me know

same thing happend to me this I found that there is no proximity sensors (which shows you directions N-S- E- W) found on device tipo dual while sony whitepaper has clearly mentioned that sony xperia tipo dual comes with proximity sensors

Got my new Tipo a few days ago. Googel Sky (1.6.4) always looks in the same direction. In landscape mode east unless I turn phone upside down, then it points west. In portrait north unless I turn it upside sown, then it looks south.

GPS Status (3.8.1) always show zero in pitch/roll and heading 0?50/0 degrees.

Almost as if there was no compas. Also found secret code to enter service mode in another thread (*#*#7378423#*#*) but there was no entry for compas. Is there a compas in the Tipo?

Added 2012-11-23: Got it confirmed today: There is NO compass in the Tipo. Don't expect and compass info.

I found that out when i finally got in touch with the support people of my network provider, who sold me the phone. They have as home work to add this information to their site...
