Battery Draining Fast

Hi,

In one month, only few days has been the battery remained till night 10pm. It is charged 100% during night time, but still by the time 2pm it reaches to 40%!!!

I disabled many system apps like Maps, Facebook, TimeScape, Exchange Service, News & Weathers, Event Stream Engine, Friends Music, My Uploads, Notes, Recommender, REtail Demo, Setup Guide, TV Launcher, Twitter.

But still after disabling this, I see only 10% improvement. I have downloaded System tuner, by tomorrow, I will upload some more details and screenshot of battery.

If possible, please do help by giving any tips to improve battery or find any issue with hardware of Xperia P.

This looks like a big problem with all xperia p phones. I think SONY should go for a recall of Xperia P

did you try to repair your phone with sus or pcc?yes,try to post some pics of your battery stats.

it depends,yes,but you haven't used it too much,you have no calls,so you can have such an autonomy.

uninstall taskillers, antivirus, battery apps, ram apps.

charge your phone 100% use it as you normally would > once it reaches 10%

settings > battery > take screenshots of the

whole list
graph
tap on the top 5 items and take screenshots and post it all here.

if you have poor coverage that will drain your battery too.

Last unplugged charged was 96%. After that about 12 call of 1-4 minutes happened. And the batter levels are below 58%.

The screenshot taking is very difficult, it works only few times while pressing power + minus volume keys

keys.

Do not use Antivirus. Battery apps tried earlier and uninstalled, before 15 days. I learned from other post to install System Tuner, so just installed before starting this thread. But I will do all your suggested steps and give input here again.

Here are new images taken after 1 hour of 100% battery and unplugged.

In one hours time, without even single call, with only WhatsApp receiving 9 messages from two contacts [I do not know if thesee are received before unplug!! ], the battery has been to 92%.

as you can see Wi-Fi was on the whole time, why? because apps like whatsapp. do the same after your battery reach 10%

Sure, I will do post the screens of 10% or below.

Moreover, I remain in Wifi most of the time so that apps like WhatsApp can remain on. I'm still not using Skype, but planning to keep it on once the battery issue is resolved. GMail apps is kept on Auto Sync. No other feature mostly used. 2 Widgets are used only for the Business Calendar App and TaskList App.

While writing this, the battery is at 80%. No calls till now or new messages.

I'm happy and surprised. Its 11PM and still 12% battery. But today was a silent day for me. Here are the screenshots of 12% battery.

I've removed Free Advanced Task Manager, System Tuner, Android Tuner Free yesterday night.

I've not repaired phone untill now, still need to find that it is problem of phone before reaching customer care in person.

Usually, reaching below 40%, I keep the phone to charge. Today till now not charged. And I've notice today 40% was around after 9 hours instead of normally 5-6 hours. At this stage, I've disabled almost major services/apps like Facebook, Maps, Twitter.

Any help/tips will be appreciated.
