Hello,

I recently got a new 8gb SD card to replace the stock 2gb SD card i got with my Xperia mini pro. I created a back up of my present SD card on my pc ( Ctrl C + Ctrl V ) and pasted those files into my new SD card.

On mounting the new SD card the phone ran fine initially, bu then the battery life reduced significantly - i had to recharge my phone every 4-5 hours and this is the most curious ; the ICS gallery app began behaving extremely oddly. Whenever i clicked a new picture and opened the gallery, in place of the thumbnail for the new pic, there was a thumbnail for an old DELETED pic!!!! On selecting that thumbnail, the old picture opens first and then it morphs into the new picture i just clicked! on browsing through my gallery i saw many such old deleted thumbnails, which on opening showed the correct pictures though. The minute this happened i figured the SD must be corrupt, so i unmounted and formatted it. I then inserted my old SD card - the battery life became normal again, BUT any new pic i click, it still shows as the thumbnail of an old pic! Though the old pictures which i had clicked before this on the 2gb card seem fine.

This problem was only on the ICS gallery, the Xperia gallery works fine( correct images and thumbnails), but i dont like the UI - i prefer the ICS one.

Please help!!!!!!!
