Cracked Xperia U Screen

My Xperia U's screen Cracked from a fall. only the screen not the lcd. i can still use the touch. Can i have my screen CAse replaced?

PS: My nearest sony service center does not have it yet. Will it be available sooner?

What do you mean by the screen and not lcd?Can you post a pic

It depends on the service center I think

How do we know if the servie center will have the case or not??

the crack is superficial in the case. not in the lcd.

that's the Digitizer so it is not superficial, you need a new Digitizer/touchscreen.

you have 2 options

1) take it to sony repair center (it's not covered by warranty)

2) replace it yourself (this will void your warranty but its a lot cheaper)

Me too! Mine is Sony Xperia Go

Glass was also cracked after AA Battery fell on it. (about 1 ft)

But LCD is still working well.

I also inquired with Sony Xperia Service Center

and i was shocked knowing the price for parts P7,270.00 plus P560.00 for the labour fee.

This simply means I need to spend almost P8,000 which is 60% cost of my phone.

I also read reviews regarding this case.

Im planning to order parts from ebay and replace it myself.

Do you know any video links for self replacement of touch digitizer got Xperia GO? P

please help?? thanks!
