timescape problems

my timescape started acting really funny yesterday. first of all, the gmail extension, that worked on other xperia phones, did not work for my ion. then yesterday, facebook could not receive updates, through timescape. i've tried over and over and still wont update and will just give me that error to tap to try again. i checked the timescape services and facebook showed up twice, with the same account, and i thought that was weird so i restarted the phone and checked it again and then there was only one facebook account. also, apparently the music extension also suddenly stopped working because it only shows my last played music from a day ago when i have been using the music player til probably midnight. is there a way to fix this without doing a pc companion repair? hate to lose all my stuff, again, just because of one app not working properly.

I'm experiencing the same for 3 days know.I've even repaired the phone. this did not help.

i guess we are all SOL, if we use timescape to view our facebook feed. facebook updated their mobile app feed to a different code to speed up loading of feeds, which timescape can't read. apparently facebook isn't going to go backwards so sony has to move forward and update their timescape extension for facebook. i wonder how long that is going to take. hopefully, since timescape is their UI, they should try to fix it in a few days. but, sony usually takes longer than that so maybe a couple of week? i just hope to god it won't be a couple of months...

aw crap. i have a feeling its going to be a couple of months... ion is predicted to get the jelly bean update after march... maybe september? or october for all versions to get the update? instead of fixing the extension now, they might fix it on the jelly bean update. even then, that is a big might. either way, facebook feeds for timescape will not be usable for probably another year 😞 i guess i have to go back to using the facebook widget.

I am also suffering from this problem, moreover the WIFI issue is just killing me badly.

Where on my Sony Vaio laptop I get full complete signals and on the same position my Wife on SOLA keeps disconnecting again and again.

Please come up with the proper solution for both these issues as they are the core issues for the SOLA.

dont need to wait for sony to update it. here is the fix for this timeacape issue. hope everyone is happy now.

this is because of the new facebook update, here's a solution. download this file http://www.mediafire.com/?fl4p8f4vpx0jp16 extract it and you get the timescape folder, just open it and install all the apps like a normal apk. after installing the apks, refresh your timescape and it will work 100%

This worked great. but i had to download to my PC extract all files then emaile opened files to myself and open email on my phone and open andinstal each file. Now all works 100%:smileywink:

you should have downloaded it directly to your phone then extract it using root explorer but who cares, its now 100% working right?

Why don't we get application update in Sony's Update Center instead of only Firmware upgrades which still contain's the same bugs....a little bit enigmatic...
