Updates effecting my handset usabilty!.

Hi, new here.
Had to come to forums to find out if anyone had the answer or solution as to why my phones functions seem to decline or completely go awol after performing an android upgrade?.
Have always had a Sony/Ericsson handset for as long as i can remember, therefore, have obviously always felt they delivered a device i could rely upon. So other than the issues i'm now having with this handset, i've absolutely no other reason to be annoyed with Sony.

Have had this Xperia S since may, work great straight from the box, done everything i expected & was promised (albeit for the standard power consumption issue).
First update performed & handy features vanished, such as screenshot etc.
Second update & more useful features vanish associated with camera & album. Not just that but handset no longer likes detecting 3G signals when needed.
Third update & device no longer like connecting me to email, google, facebook etc, & strongly disagree's with my use of the power saving function!.
Most recent update & my phone can longer stay connected to my network provider, hence no incoming/out-going calls or texts

There's no point in me pretending to be tech savvy, however, i really do rely heavily on the tech in this phone for work & pleasure!.

Can anybody here tell me how to resolve these issues i'm having, are they common with all Xperia users after updates, & are these updates really necessary when they seem be creating more problems than advantages/solutions...... at least in my case.

I'm sorry to hear. I suggest that you try to reinstall the phone software using SUS.

If any problem still remains you should contact your local support team to have your phone examined and fixed at an repair center.
