I would advise you run an update/repair:

1. Before you start you have to download the PC Companion software from http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/pc-companion/

and install it on your PC.

2. Once installed on your PC, double-click the PC Companion icon on your desktop to start the update.

Note! For some models you will be prompted to do a backup prior to the update and then restore.

3. Install and open PC Companion then select Support Zone.

4. Phone Software Update.

5. Start.

6. Repair Phone

7. Continue

8. Accept data removal

9. Next

10. Wait for prepare

11. Select Phone

12.

Its been months after so many issues after ICS upgrade (Netwrok issue with idle phone, Wifi freeze issue, recieving calls, continuos reboot and many others that Sony support team does not feel critical.

The phone is so much trouble to carry now but we stupids have spent as much as 19K INR. We now believe that we will have to use and throw our phones to the grave and switch back to the reliable Nokia (you can atleast be on network at all times and recieve calls without trouble).

No justification for NOT rolling out any OS upgrades(disgusting) but atleast help us get our original phone back that helps us talk easily.
