How to remove shortcut icons from home screen????

How to remove shortcut icons from home screen????

I got little bit suggestion from other site to tap and hold the icon and drag it to newly appered bin at the bottom.

I have tried many times but no bin appeared in my case(xperia j) and directly open that application.

Please reply..

Hi Dibakar,

Hold the icon for some seconds then your screen will vibrate and you can drag it to the bin which appears, if you just touch it then it will open the app, so once you press the icon wait till you get the bin icon down.

The bin will appear at where the home button was normally. (Bottom row, middle)
