I have been using Xperia Ion LT28h for a month.

Recently whenever I try turning the phone off holding the Power key→Shutdown→Yes, the phone just turn off then on again (with the Xperia and Sony logo preceding). I have to try the second time to turn it off.

Why does that happen?

That sounds really strange. Try this.

When phone is on press and hold both power key and volume up and keep them down until you feel three vibrations. Now wait a few seconds and power on again. Check if the same problem can be replicated when you try to power off as normal.

Well I also knew it was just meant to reboot the phone.

It seems nothing can help but interestingly, this happens less frequently now, yet, persists...

hey dumbass what you are saying is reboot/reset the device. that will not resolve the issue, what he wants is to turn the phone off and not REBOOT it again. your a sony dev and you are useless! haha. what you told him will not power down the phone dumbsh*t. and btw, lot of users are complaining about timescape issue and where are you to address their concern? hiding in your boss's ASS! haha. i posted a resolution to that issue maybe you and your DEVELOPER-ish may want to use that. it came from your product too. XPERIA AX. a simple solution and you and your team cant even provide.

that reboot issue when powering on is a KNOWN issue after the update on E.3.7 firmware. what u told the guy will not resolve his problem dickhead
