Problem with ICS update

My handheld SI numbers for ICS update has already out for some time.

My PC companion note that a phone software update is available.

Then i follow the instruction to update the phone software until step 2, it guide me to read a link about ICS, skip it and click accept, a progress bar is shown, and then suddenly a dialog box appear says something like "Sony Update Engine couldn't be installed (error 0x80070002)" a link is shown to download the udate engine manually.. I already downloaded it, about 39,08 MB and then install. Then I click OK, repeat the step to update phone software, but still I'm stuck with the same error message said "Sony Update Engine couldn't be installed (error 0x80070002)"

anyone please help.. I already try this on two computers with Windows XP SP3 and Windows 7 the problem is the same..

If you are still facing the problem try Sony Update Service (SUS) as suggested by Arnab above. Here is the link http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/update-service/
