Xperia Neo V speaker not functioning

Hi,

I have purchased xperia neo V on May 2012. Since yesterday the speaker of the phone doesn't seems to be working.I am unable to hear any ringtone

or listen to any media on speaker,while the same seems to be working fine when the music is played through headset.However the faint sound can be heard when you bring the speaker on to your ear.Please let me know what might be the problems and no. of days it might take to have the problem rectfied at service centre.

Please check to see if there is any dust/lint in the speaker area. If not then you would be best to speak directly with the repair agent themselves regarding timeframes etc.

What are your thoughts about this forum? Let us know by doing this short survey.

dail *#*#7378423#*#* on your keypad.... you wil b opend wid troubleshooter... u find 4 options in dat menu.. now select service tests.... now u wil find differnt tests... select speaker test... wait for some time... if u hear any voice.. den you hav noo prblm wid speaker... i also faced the same problem.. i solved dis by troubleshooting
