Display shut off during speaking...

Hello all,

after i upgraded to ICS the display shut off don´t work properly...

During speaking the phone cancel the call or dial numbers...this happens as far as I can see because the display shut off sensor dont work in a good way.

Does anybody have same problems???

Have similar problems on two off my xperia Go mobiles that recently updates to ICS.

Does not happen all the time but very frequently when the phone is locked and you unlock it and then call a number in the phonebook about 10-20 secs into the call the screenlocks and phonecall gets interupted.

Would be nice with a fix or an configuration that removes this problems as my users are getting annoyed.

This has now been investigated by the project but the issue could not be replicated. Please let me know if any of you still experience this issue running on latest software version.

I am having the same issue. Calls disconnect, the loudspeaker activates randomly during calls, which is getting really annoying. The sensor test works, I can see the display go off when I first hold it to my ear, but around once every 5 minutes I am hanging up by accident.

Hello,

My device shut off during speaking.

I just buy it and upgrade it to ICS.

During speaking the phone cancel the call but it happen not all the time.

I'am waiting for a fix.

Hello Johan,

the problem still exists also on latest firmware. The Display is shutting off during call...but the touch display is still working. So after a while during speaking you press the microphone off button or cancel in worst case the call. This happen after several minutes. The sensor is working, you see the shut off but you can still touch buttons. I didn´t try it with my fingers but it occurs if my phone is at my head.
