Hello Guys,

I just bought my Xperia P 4 days ago and i already updated the software to android 4.0.4 then I knew there is something wrong with the camera app. Pictures taken with the resolution set to 8 megapixel with flash seem to be very dark. The taking of the picture and the flash are not sync in my opinion.6 megapixel with flash configuration doesn't show this problem. I uploaded sample pictures of the 8MP and 6MP config for better comparison.

6 megapixel with flash on config

8 megapixel with flash on config.

It's a shame i can't use the full potential of the camera in low light condition.

I also have the same issue with my week old sony xperia P. This happened after I tried changing the resolution to 8mp from 6mp with flash. Pictures taken with the resolution set to 8 megapixel seems to have a dark part. Do we have any fix for this Sony?

hi this isnt prob with 4.0.4 initialy,i too bought it a month back, this has been caused by an update to 4.0.4 in recent time, everyone is facing issue, this issue wont be seen just after restarting phone, its sure tht sony has taken notice of it,as for ppl who update now by default cam works at 6 mp so that no one notices the issue, tht kind of cheating, but what i came to know from post here in another forum,a smal update for fix of this issue has been released in sri lanka
