Android version 2.3.7 with build number 6.0.B.3.184

I have recently bought an xperia sola {1week ago}.

Luv the phone overall.

Just came across the android version and build number of my phone.

As mentioned, its 2.3.7 having build number 6.0.B.3.184

Is this the most stable version out there for xperia sola? Or can I upgrade to a better version?

Because after reading some posts, came to know that ICS 4.0 had software issues etc.

Need some advice on this.

I believe it is the most stable Ginger Bread version and I will keep it on my Sola. It's so funny to read all the postings here complaining about not getting ICS and then they get it and complain about all the problems with ICS. My main complaint is the stiff camera shutter switch and no software upgrade will help that.

Thanx for the insight. I guess i'll keep the same version too.

Ya as far as the camera button is concerned, i too faced the same. One has to press it deep down to get the button to click a picture.

One more thing though.

I have experienced some brightness flickering issue too on my sola.[happens sometimes]

Have you faced any such problem?

Can you suggest some solution.

I believe a sony representative should also put some highlight onto this and possibly suggest a solution.
