Problem sound incall/ outcall

I got problem in my sola since upgraded to ICS , i dont know if the problem occur ing GB , because after i bought my sola then upgrade it to ICS

the only problem is I can't hear any sound from earspeaker phone when i got incall/ outcall so i need to use loudspeaker or headset to hear the voice . then upgraded to the latest firmware the problem still occured . i think its not the software problem , maybe hardware? anyone face the same issue like this? i've call Customer Service and do all they told me what should to do but the problem still does not fixed. any solution?

beside that problem my phone working perfectly .

Did you try the Volume keys at the side to control "In-Call Volume"?

yes i am also facing same problem after i upgraded to ICS.It works when i restart my phone with the headphones plugged-in.

how did you fix it?

i try to restart my phone with headphone plugged-in and the problem didn't solved either.

its working for me..I have faced it 3 or 4 times..Is ur earpiece not working at all??

I'd say this is related to hardware. So, send in your phone to a service location and let them take a look at it. Contact your local Xperia support for information about service locations near you.

some say its harware related, somesay its software related .

There is no sony service center here near my place, if i go to service center it must be sent by my phonestore and charge some money then it took about 1 month or more they said and i ain't got time for that. maybe i'll stick facing this issue and hoping for some miracle . please sony MAKE BELIEVE and do not make dissapointed your customer :smileysad:.

Well, to rule out any software issues you can repair/update your phone software via PC Companion. If the issue persist after an update/repair, it's related to hardware and must be sent to a service location to get fixed.

it now works for me when i do the following:

Insert the headphones.

Turn on the radio if its not

Turn off the radio using the button in headphone.

remove the headphone.

The earpiece must work now.!!

It occurs most of the time..

i think when we remove the headphones directly without switching off the radio..

and its after upgrading to ICS

i think thats a hardware problem, i can't hear any soun from normal earspeaker phone , when i got incall or outcall . . btw thanks for the sugestion.

I had the same problem on my ZL many times.
I believe it's a hardware problem.

"Radio trick" didn't work for me.

Latest fix I had after tapping near headphone jack.
