Please suggest me some good applications for my xperia u and more importantly i need application for locking Images, Videos, SMS etc...

Pls do needfull..

I suggest you try the Play Store for such an application, simply go to the Play Store and type Image locker or SMS lock. try playing around with the terminology to find what you are looking for.

app lock,,,,this is a very good app and can lock any app u want....!!

I advise you Illumination Bar Notification, an application that will light up the bottom bar when you get a notification of the type you desire. You can customize the color and the frequency depending on the type of notification
For exemple I decided to light up the bar red with a 1 sec frequency for missed calls. It stops when you acknowledge the call.

Just greatest app for Xperia U, works also with P and S except without the color
