Hi guyz, while trying to get help i found the solution to this problem,

first

enter the acces point section where you can select you apn

the create your carriers account as usual

then go to T mobiles account and switch the following

Apn: use your carriers settings

mcc: 302

MNC: 720

and thats it... you are welcome

MCC and MNC are just country codes. They will be different for everyone.

The problem with hotspot and tethering seems to be centered on the 'a' models not the 'i' ones.

Please post your phone model and carrier/country.

Sorry. I have an european SK17i and tethering didn't work either...

Correct ... it was not exclusive to the 'a' models. But the 'a's for sure would break. Hit and miss on the 'i' models.

Do you have a legitimate smartphone data plan that includes tethering? Or are you using a non-smartphone data plan SIM in your phone?
