I have really strange problem with my Arc S. When I connect the phone to my computer it pops up as a telephone device and I can open the SD card and browse through my files. But I can´t transfer any files! For instance, if I try to copy a folder to my desktop, the folder is created but no files are copied. So it ends up empty. If I try to drag one single file to this empty folder, nothing happens at all. No error message, nothing. I have problems in the other direction as well. For instans, if I try to rename a folder, I can type in a new name, but as soon as I press Enter, the old name comes back. Not possible to copy files to the phone either.

I have checked with 3 different computers, two with Windows 7 and one with Vista, with the same result. Replaced the USB cable without any success. I'm have the latest ICS release on the phone.

An update on this issue. It seems like I can modify and copy files to the phone, but not vice verse around. However, it is very sluggish. To rename a folder on the phone takes between 5-10s. And it takes a long time before file copying actually starts. Once it starts copying if goes reosonably fast.

Actually it does not stay stable. It seems like the MTP mode is very unpredictable, at least with Windows 7 64bit. Changed to MSC mode, and this seems to work a lot better.
