Photo effects broken

Hey guys,

I have a new Xperia P with Android 4.0.4.

I tested some photo effects and some working very well but some doesn't work.

First time I have played with the effects on the camera and you are absolutely right, they come out exactly the same as yours show.

I have various camera apps on my phone and they work fine so clearly a bit of an issue with the Sony camera app.

Sony XP had a this feature in gingerbread of 'Just 1 second difference between each snap'. it's kinda lost in ICS. My XP takes atleast 3-4 seconds between snaps.

I dont have the problem? im able to take pictures very quickly! are you using the onscreen camera button? thats how i get pictures taken very quickly

Also, the effects arent broken, they just suc.k to be honest, use instagram or some other 3rd party app, the sony photo effects are decent though, some better than others

I just tried it out and faced the same result. I will post this further on for further handling! Thanks for the feedback.

To solve it for the moment, try using some other app for these kind of interactions such as Instagram for example.

Are there any updates regarding this issue? I've got the same problem with my Xperia P. The fisheye effect seems to saturate the photo with a certain hue. And lomo darkens the sides of the picture and leave only a tiny parcel at the middle to view.
