Charging separated battery

Can I charge a spare battery separatedly from the phone while the main battery is inside the phone itself?

Well, did u forget Xperia S comes with a bjilt in battery??? what then???

Also, i found a SOLAR POWER CHARGER its not from an recognized company, but it charges.. i just tried for few minutes and stopped coz i was scared. Asked few friends as wel. they are not sure too. am scared it might damage my phone.

But since its able to charge via USB, i wonder if Xpirea s has a built in protector. However, what would your advice be??? Should i or should i not use the solar power charger????

try a solar charger w/ built in battery, it's great to go camping or music art festivals it shouldn't damage the phone as it's similar as charging through PC

ya guess it has a build in bat.. coz they said to 1st charge it with a adopter b4 using solar power to charge , so... sh if someone from sony can approve this... Pls HELP!!!
