Problem connecting to PC

Hi !

I am having Xperia - P, with the latest build. I am unable to connect to my PC.

My PC is installed with Windows XP Home Edition 2002, with SP3.

Whenever I connect via USB widows pops "New Hardware found MTP Device" and trys to install the driver and fails.

I have also installed the "Sony PC Companian" this software is also unable to detect the phone.

This is one smartphone which i am unable to connect to my computer. Please help me.

Try to clear data for the MTPapp in the phone.

You can find the MTPapp under manage applications.

If problem still remains try to reinstall the latest version of Windows Media Player which contains the needed MTP drivers.

Spot on thanks, an install of the latest Windows Media Player worked a treat.
