Hi, after ICS update I have a problem with pressur sensor. This problem happens both with my bike computer application and with standard Sony pressure sensor demo. If I switch on the phone and I activate the application immediatly (before the phone go sleep) all works fine. If I wait and after a while (after display dimmed) I activate the application the pressure sensor does not send events. It happen systematically. When the pressur sensor doesn't send events it is not seen from service menù (no millibar displayed). My phone model number is ST17i, Android is 4.04, kernel is 2.6.32.9-perf, build 4.1.B.0.431.

Anyone have detected the same problem? Thank you in advance for any suggestion or tip.

I have seen similar issues although I did not work out the level of detail you have. I modified my code to detect not getting events and restart the sensor after a few seconds and this seems to work as a workaround although it is of course far from ideal.

Ifor - Pressure Apps are IpBike, IpSmartAltimeter

Well I have not seen a .587 for the Active yet. Then I have not seen a proper ICS at all for my SI number but that's another issue.... Point me at the nessasary information and I will give it a try.

With the new firmware the pressure sensor is still not working. I have got the same issue as ron65 described.

The problem still exists with the .587 update but I can circumvent the problem by e.g. switching the Altimeter-App by Stephane Sandon off and back on again.

Alternatively if I switch on any of the pressure sensor apps and then go to one of the others, then the sensor also starts reporting values.

In addition to the aforementioned I also use the "Sensitive Altimeter" and the "Androsensor".
