Proximity sensor lags while calling

Hi!

I have Sony Xperia P with latest ICS version (but I had this lag in GB).

When I answer a call and positioning phone in horizontal - proximity sensor doesn't work. But when phone in other positions (vertical, non-horizontal) - everything is OK. I think proximity sensor works with gyro sensor (why???). I also checked it in Galaxy Nexus - it's OK, proximity sensor works in all positions.

PS: Also checked Xperia Neo V - it has this bug.

do you have anything covering the proximity sensor? a film protector or a protecting case?

No. All phones doesn't have screen protector.

have you try the basic, repair it with SUS or PCC ?

Yes. I do flashing with Flashtool (with full wipe) and PCC. Nothing changed. Does a Sony calling app have checks of proximity sensor and gyro sensor together or it's checks only proximity sensor? I ask this question cause Xperia Neo V proximity sensor works identically.

Proximity sensor working OK. Only in calling app in horizontal position - proximity sensor doesn't work (or detection rate is low). Does calling app have gyro sensor checks?

that's odd, repair your phone with SUS and check again

OK, I'll try.

Also, today I go to mobile phone shops and check Xperia P phones. All phones has this lag.
