i charge my phone at night and go to sleep but when i see in morning my phone is having only 1% battery. i have checked my battery has no problem.

the android version of my phone is 2.3.4...........please give solution.

Power off and on phone, monitor if there is any difference?

Other than that, suggest software repair phone, http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/update-service/. Download and install to PC/Laptop, launch it and follow on-screen instructions. Be aware that this process will erase phone data completely.

what type of data will be erase after this update. is this is an ics update i dont want to update my phone to ics

Everything in the phone memory will be erased, data saved in SD card will not be affected. You may be interesting in this thread for backup, http://talk.sonymobile.com/message/154664#154664

Phone will be automatically updated to latest software if it is released for your phone.

There is no need to root at all

Do not use Sony update service.

Install PC Companion on your phone PC and connect your mobile to it.

Go to update center and see if it notifies you for an update, if yes then see the build number and write it here

Do not update your phone, just check what build does it shows for you

my current build number is 4.0.2.A.0.62

and when i connect my phone to pc the build number of update shown by pc is 4.1.B.0.431

It means you can't repair your phone since ICS is available for it.

Now what you could is to remove the battery and reinsert it , charge to full and monitor it.

If it behaves abnormally then you will have to go to service center in order to get the software repair done.

There are unofficial ways too , but that may/would void the warranty of the phone

i buy this phone ar 13950 from ebay.in and when i went to sony centre they are saying that this is a phone of rs16000 so they charging me rs280 for this software repair.
