Tipo Ringtone Volume Reduction problem

Hi.,

I bought Sony Tipo on Sep 26 2012. From day 1 onwards i noticed the problem of ringtone volume reduction. When a call comes , it starts with louder tone and within a sec or 2 , the volume of ringtone is automatically reduced . What might be the problem? Is this a bug in device ?

Is the phone paired with any Bluetooth headset?

It almost sounds like the phone starts ringing then connects to the Bluetooth headset, this will reduce the ringtone volume.

If you're not using any headset I suggest that you try to reinstall the phone software using SUS.

I can't renistall the software. my phone was not detecting by holding the volume key down for few sec..

I had tried it several times& there was no use instead of taking it to customer support how can i solve this issue. please update

How did you solve the issue please update. When i switch off my mobile after few min, I could connect

Via usb then by holding volume key down for few sec nothing happens.. Could you update the steps properly

Hi,

Somebody posted that he got a solution by switching the network. Initially I thought what a joke. Then I tried to change network mode to GSM from wcdma(preffered)/gsm. Ohhh yes after changing the netwok to GSM ringtone is ok now. This is definately a sofware bug. Yup those who preferred wcdma/gsm will have problem.
