Still not get ICS update

My device still show your device is up to date. I could not find ics update for my device. I have tried by device , pc companion and directly from sony website.

Pls tell me how i get ics update.

I had purchased my xperia p from UAE. And right now i am using it in india.

So is there any problem regarding with update ICS??????

I bought mine from ebay which is a UAE imported phone. No ICS yet but no worries bceause ICS doesn't get anything which would make the device more useful than it is now.

If that is the Case then u should wait till the ICS released in UAE, I am saying this Because I am from india i recieved the ICS update, The release depends on where u purchased the Mobile( SI Number)

Hi ,

The sony Update site shows that an update - 6.1.B.0.544 was released for xperia p but when I use PC companion or do a check update with my phone connected which is on 6.0.B.184 , both show that my phone is upto date . What is the cause of this issue ??

Use Update Service

1- Download it here http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/update-service/

2- Turn off your anti virus , Let it be installed

3- after installed , open it and choose your phone , but make your sure your phone is not connected to pc

4- after choosing your phone , click on next , turn your phone off , wait 1 min , hold volume down key then connect your phone to pc

5- it automatically starts updating your phone

Mark it as Correct answer ^_^

I have today get the ICS update. And i have the updated my device through SUS.

There no problems and working very smoothly.

ICS update is cool.

When i connected my phone with laptop after pc companion show update is availabale. After i have updated through SUS.
