How to remove/disable Facebook?

The Facebook app keeps popping up. I cannot reproduce it, but it frequently seems to occur when I press the back button on the music app—instead of being taken to the homescreen I see the login page of the Facebook app.

I have cleared the data and cache of all Facebook looking applications. Timescape has not been linked to my Facebook account as I do not use it.

How can I disable or remove Facebook integration?

Hello,

Go to settings>Xperia>Sony Facebook Integration>Uncheck Facebook Integration.

It was not checked.

Problem just occured again, this time I just unlocked my phone and the FaceBook application was open.

To permanently remove facebook app, you have to root your phone here

try to force stop it in setting>application>manage application>all>search for facebook.

Yes I did this before cleaning all the data. Will wait and see if the ICS fixes this.
