Mini Pro VARIOUS ISSUES!

I've been fumbling all over the internet to solve my WiFi issue, and I'm going to list the whole process from a fan to frustration.

I bought my Mini Pro back in Aug 2011. I loved it so much everything was perfect.
But then came ICS update.

Once I updated to the latest update at May, I loved the improvements. But bugs came from one end to the other.

First it was the Notifications. What was a wonderful code of notification lights built inside the phone now a dead LED to me.

After the update, I might as well rip off the LED and bury it! Whatsapp, FB, FB Messaging, Viber, all DEAD!!!
The only time it blinked is when it needs power! What is wrong with pushing the update out with bugs and let us WAIT FOR SO LONG for a fix?

Next, Camera. What use to be a wonderful experience snapping photos to me using the Mini Pro now comes a wonderful disaster.

The new menu is great for me. But what kills me is that whenever I want to take a macro shot, I had to focus MULTIPLE times. Even if clearly the photo is a big mess blur, it shows a green focused square. But when it is a sharp clear shot, it's red focus square.
What the hell is this?

Third, Connectivity. This come in 2 parts so I'll split them in 2.

Part 1, WiFi

After the update, I noticed there is some issues with the WiFi already. Although showing I was connected to the WiFi, the connection seems to be lost half way and sometimes even slow in response. Normally it took me less than a second for a Whatsapp message to go through in WiFi... Now, it takes 3 to 5 minutes for one message to go out. The browser to websites are slow responding, I used my friend's HTC phone, Laptops, iPads, etc... It all works smoothly except for my phone! This is not my modem issue, I went to Starbucks, work, public WiFi spots to try it out. It doesn’t work!!

I have been waiting for an official fix from Sony, I did not try any rooting methods to solve this issue. Because I still believe that these things can be solved.

In spite of changing modems, setting my modems, even making a factory reset through Sony PC Companion, wiping all my phone apps and now I have to reinstall everything. IT DIDN”T FIX THE WIFI ISSUE!!!

Part 2, Data

Even after the reset, I try to choose connecting to Wi-Fi and try sign in to my Google account to setup my phone. It failed. So I tried using Data instead to sign in.

Another new issue came up. My data is not functioning as smoothly as ever. Opening a simple webpage now took more than 20 seconds to load up! I just reset the phone in 2 hours ago impossible my line is that bad.

I do not choose to Root my phone because I believed in Sony making the best user experiences to the consumers. But now all I feel is what you want to be is only Make Believe. Make Believe that your products and after sales service is top notched but it’s not!

Up to date, no solution is provided, All troubleshooting is pushing that maybe other factors (modem, OS, line, end user) causes the issues and not the phone itself.

If this issue is not going to be fixed soon enough, this may be my last Xperia phone ever.

Puuh, now that's a long post you got there.. Impressive.

And also, thanks for posting and welcome to the forum!

It's actually hard to say what might be causing the issues you experience and you have also tried many wise things to try to sort this out.

For us to be able to help you out further I'd recommend you to get in contact with your local Sony Mobile support so they can help you to search for errors step by step, those things are a bit tricky via forum I'm afraid.
