Issues after ICS

HI everyone

Recently I have updated my Xperia Pro phone to ICS. After this update both phone dialer and contacts menu opens very slow. It takes 4 to 8 seconds depending on phone congestion to open it i.e. when you hit the phone icon on menu first appers a black screen and than only few minutes after you can call someone. It is a bit uncomfortable when you try call someone, especially if it is ugent, your phone's primary function doesnt work fast. And phone's physical qwerty keyboard changed to azerty. please help me out? Is there any solution ?

you might want to get third party dialer on google play or perform a settings reset.

as for the azerty problem. afaik. you need to bring it to a sony update service to be fixed

The idea of getting a third party app is good and even i have tried a couple of one. but unfortunatelly all of them will be running on the background using a RAM-memory, which is not so excessive in pro(only half of 512mb). A factory reset didnt helped.

the preloaded dialer app it's quite heavy so it will lag, if you use a third party app you can disable other apps, settings > apps > all > tap on the app > disable

how about re-installing the software again? try repairing with Sony update Service

if it doesn't get fixed then you must go to a sony service center to sort it out.
