Scratch on Xperia P! Please Help!

Hi guys,i got a scratch on my new Xperia P,the scratch is vertical and it's height is about 3mm,and wide about 1mm or less.My question is can it be removed somehow from the anti-shatter laminate sheet,or if i put the screen protector that camed with the Xperia box,the scratch won't be noticeable or maybe some third solution. can u post any sreenshots of ur scratch...

If scratch is in box, then u need to worry i think dealer is froad with u, may be he sealed box again sell it to u..

u need to contact sony custumer care...

No no,it happened some time after i bought it,let's say 5, 6 days,before there wasn't nothing.The Scratch is visible when i use app that have bright colors,like Facebook for example(it has white background) then it is visible.So i am asking can i somehow remove it or a simple scratch protector over the anti-shatter laminate sheet will do the job of hiding it (making it unvisible to the eye :smileygrin:)

it cant hide..

my suggestion is go to shop where u buy from, then buy new screen gaurd...it is not costly thing near about Rs100/- in indian rupees...

if shop has no screen guard for ur phone then u can buy from ebay.com

tnx,but i have one in the box that camed with the phone.so i won't have to buy for now,maybe in near future,but the scratched film is a special anti-shatter laminate sheet that that prevents the glass from breaking,it isn't a regular screen protector

i have a scrach guard over and above the screen protector provided on the phone itself ! so if u install one u will never need to worry abt the scraches itself ! it doesnt affect the touch sensitivity in any way !! better get one soon !!

Okey,but i'm still in doubt with the current anti-shatter laminate sheet,shaal i remove it since it has a scratch or should i put a screen protector over it

Sorry for your problem.

Why not apply the screen protector in the box over the laminate sheet you have the scratch on and see if it improves things, you have nothing to lose other than the screen protector Sony provided in the box, if this is no good I have read on these forums you can remove the laminate sheet and just replace with a standard screen protector but you would lose the anti shatter protection I guess. I had my Xperia P unprotected for ages until I realised you were supposed to apply the screen protector over the existing sheet. Glad i did before I scratched it, think the responsiveness of the screen is better with both on personally.
