When ICS for XPERIA P was released, the firmware for XPERIA P was not certified until yesteday, so they might have forgotten to certify ST25i.

the difference is the network protocol they support

3G Network	HSDPA 900 / 2100 - ST25i
	HSDPA 850 / 1900 / 2100 - ST25a

there is no "best". as this would depend on which area you live.

you can check out areas that supports particular gsm band here

but in terms of features and stuff, they are the same

The ICS upgrade for Xperia U, Xperia sola and Xperia go is next out of the door, and we’ll be back with another update shortly.

Hi All,

Certified means, ICS Update already developed by SONY and tested by PTCRB.

So only thing left is Release to public.

sony has not officially announced the release date for xperia u. Hope we get ics in this week or net week
