Arc S main microphone problem

Hi all,

I just realized having a problem with the main microphone (the one on the bottom of the display) of my Arc-s.

While calling, people don't hear me clearly (they hear me very "far") so I have to switch to "hand-free" mode and turn the phone so to speak directly into the second microphone (the one on the rear of the display).

So it seems that the main mic is working, but non properly.

I didn't update the software to GB so it still has the original one.

Any troubleshooting advice??

Try performing an update of your phone's software to see if it might sort this out.

You can easily perform the update with our program Sony PC Companion, availalbe for download from the link below.

I resolved it just "calling" *#*#service#*#* and doing the service test on the microphone.

After that it works fine.

I don't know why, but now doesn't have any problem.
