Hi I have just bought a Xperia arc S lt18i

It worked fine when home, I turned it off to fly out to work when I turned it back on I could not get any recption.

I have put my sim card in another phone and it worked fine.

I put their sim in my phone and it did not work. I have tryed re booting it no luck.

and no it is not on air plane mode. can any one help please

i am lost.

if you running android 2.3.4

Go to settings / wireless and networks / mobile networks / network operators

And make sure select automatically is enabled

Also Go to settings / wireless and networks / mobile networks

and make sure network mode is

WCDMA (preffered)/GSM

Sorry that does not work it says no networks found There is network here I think that my phone is just broke.

any other suggestions

I downloaded the PC companion on to computer a few days ago, to try and fix the problem

how do I do the Repair of software.. The Phone is only a few weeks old.
