Problems dialling and sending texts x10 mini

Since about 5 days ago can't send texts or make phone calls and signal keeps dropping out and not recovering. Can receive calls and texts and tried sim card in another phone which works ok. According to website I have the most up to date software on phone. Any ideas? Shall I do a factory reset? Has anyone had similar problems which have been solved. Phone is 18 months old.

Hi, you may try factory reset phone for a start. Be aware that this will erase phone data completely, backup if necessary. If still unsuccessful, next step is to software repair phone.

Did a factory reset and problem still there. Can you advise on how to do a software repair phone? Fed up:) Cheers.

Download and install Sony Update Service to PC/Laptop, launch it and follow on-screen instructions.

Again, this will erase phone data completely.
