My Sony xperia U is less than 2 months old, and the battery worked fine (on small usage for 4-5 days!). Untill yesterday, when battery had 74% and I plugged in my ear buds, listened to some music for an hour and when I looked on my phone again the battery indicator was red and it said it has only 17% left!!! And today it happened again, the battery had more than 70% on it, went on facebook app (wifi) for 10-15 minutes, and the battery had only 37% left!! Half of my battery gone in less than 15 minutes on wifi, that's pathetic!! On both ocations I filled the battery via usb cable on lap top. But how could this be the cause if I filled the battery on lap top many times, and something like this have never happened before yesterday. Would someone please tell me what is going on?

Oh and something else: I was listening to music on earbuds (they were not sony's) and I receved a call, only the vibrator worked, but the sound was not off, and when I answered but I couldn't hear anything (I was just saying: Hello? Can you hear me? ...). She called again, the ringtone still didn't work and this time I answered with original ear buds with the microphone, but I still couldn't hear anything. I quickly rebuted the phone called back and it worked fine. I would like to know what the heck happened, please, because I don't want it to happen again!

I have Arc S. I experience the same problem from Sept. 1st: the Facebook Calendar Sync starts working without any notice and within less than an hour it drains the battery to 10%. There is no indication that the app started synchronizing and only after looking at the batery use indicator I could tell this is the problem but then it's too late because not much left to do even after forcing the app to down. The sync also transferes a huge amount of data

It is impossible to use the phone away from the charger since this is a very rapid drainage.
