I have xperia pro running ICS 4.1.B.0.587 buld.Previously i was on 4.1.B.0.431.

I am facing the issue of SD card becoming "FReezed" or "removed suddenly"

The music player starts to make crackling sound 'trr' 'trr' while playing and then there are too many failed files. The problem gets solved when i restart the phone but still the same issue reappers after a while. I have to keep restating the phone if i want to listen to music for long duration..I am really frustated by this. Also if i use camera for long duration then sometimes "memory error" comes up and sd card doesnt respond (need to restart again) I am using sandisk 32gb class 10 ULTRA card which is about 75% filled (having about 20GB+ songs). The android log shows lots of W/system.err and i think it is unable to handle cache of the sd card and the conncection b/w card and system gets broken creating LOST.DIR file.

My phone is rooted.I have done a clean install of firmware, tried full 'slow' SD card format with 64Kb allocation size. I also tried using SD Booster to increase cache to 2048 4096 8192 etc etc.. but still the issue remains..I am tired doing firmware installations again and again using SUS/PC companion or flashtool...This issue was present on both .431 and .587 builds. I have not used GB beacause when i received the phone i updated it immediately to ICS. Also i have tried clearing cache from recovery mode but the issue reappers after a while.

I mainly purchased this sony phone for listening to music and i think i have made a mistake!! Android has lot of bugs and cant handle a sd card properly!!

btw my sd card is NOT FAULTY and it is working properly on my PC..
