Arc not charging via wall socket

Hey there, have had my arc (LT15) for over a year now, and yesterday I was unable to charge my phone, played around with the USB cable, charger plug thing (Black thing USB cable plugs into, which then plugs into the wall), etc, but the issue remained.

Used 2 different micro usb cables (1 for my Kindle, and the other the USB cable which came with the arc) with the wall charger, but neither worked, also tried both cables in my PC, both worked fine, charged normally, and was able to access my phone via PC.

2 other people in my house have this same phone so I tried their chargers too, still could not charge, and from what I can tell, its the actual charger plug (Little black box USB/micro usb plugs into) that is causing the issue, however it still charges my housemates phones, sooo again figure it's that box AND my phone.

Any reason that box won't charge my phone? Or shall I just send it away/get it replaced?

http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/update-service/ It could simply be a software issue, so try using the update service to reinstall/repair the software and see if that solves the problem.

Just did a repair, essentially updated to last release, removing everything on phone, but problem remains.
