Hi

Two problems I know of [I've only used to utilities in PC Companion and they both failed]

Update/Restore. Hangs on "Preparing computer" The progress bar sits at 99% and never goes any further, [you can also click continue button too, which you shouldn't be able to, that is a software bug and needs to be addressed]

I used SUS to restore the system in the end. [I have tried PCC on three machines, all the same]

Second:

Back up and restore.

I've tried three times, all the time it has failed to restore all settings/contacts/information etc. It will restore image/movies OK

The second time I tried to restore, I only backed up one text message and contacts as that's all that was on the phone, after a failed restore.

This needs to be addressed also. I cannot trust the software, and so have resorted in downloading a non official app called Back up and restore in order to keep my phone data backed up.

I would like a response from a Sony Rep please.

Thank you

Matt
