Hi gian,

I also face the same problem of the battery not lasting more than 15hrs with moderate usage(1hr 2G calling, 1 hr of WhatsApping, 1 hr of web browsing and a little bit of gaming.) I installed the 2x battery extender app from PlayStore and have been using it since the past 3 days and my battery life has increased by about 15-20% which is decent. So, now I get about 18hrs of battery life. Though this is not a significant improvement but its still "something is better than nothing". Actually, the primary battery hogger in your phone is your Display. Anytime, if you go to Settings > About Phone > Battery Usage, you can confirm this. So, no matter how much you reduce using all the other things, if your screen is on for a longer duration, your battery WILL drain. Reducing the screen brightness also does not help much more than a % or two. So, I normally do screen heavy usage on my phone when I have access to my charger and it is connected to the phone. May be, you can also use this as "strategy" to prolong battery life.
