Problems when restarting Arc S with ICS

Hello,

I updated my Arc S as soon as the phone told me that there was an update available, it has been working

quite well until now.

Main problem is that each time when I restart the phone, things and settings change. For example the

ring signal changes from my choice to nothing, several shortcuts to applications disappear, when I open

my contacts it seems like it is done for the first time etc. It seems like it does some kind of reset when

re-booting without telling it.

I tried to remove battery and sim-card for half-an-hour, but it didnt change anything.

I saw that there is a possibility of doing a repair in Pc-companion, but I did not dare to do it since I did not

know if it would remove personal data for me. I dont know of any backup possibilities either.

It is bettter for you to re-enter your personal data after repair in PC Companion.

But it seems to me that your 1GB ROM is going bad; probably you will need to take your phone to the service centre for a replacement part.
