Sony Xperia s Issues

Hi All,

I am very very big fan of sony ericsson and sony products , I am using the sony ericsson products from W800i series. I don't want to perper any porduct out off sony products I last month i had take Sony Xperia S mobile and i upgraded to 6.0.A.3.75 and i facing some issues on mobile sony really have a look on these issue.

Issues

1)Every Reboot some apps are missing link in the above image(Firefox,common and racing Draging Race).

2)When i am play games like (FLCommando,Let's Golf 3, Homerunbattle 2 and GT Free+HD...............) in Xperia s, My phone producing the over heat and i am not able to play the games continously for 10 minutes.

3)Some time bass is not working after rebooting bass is working fine.

Sony has really work on these issue. I hope Sony will fix thses issues in ICS.

I like sony products very much anf never suggest to go for other porducts . My intension is sony has to be become No1 in market and Sony products are really awesome and cool.

Yes. I am using task easy task killer and Avasti Anti Virus.

well there you have it, you don't need them at all, they create a LOT of issues, my suggestion will be to uninstall them or even better repair your phone and do NOT install anything and see if the problem exists

As per the suggestion from uli I am trying to repair my phone but not able to repair I am getting error when tdying to repair my phone.

I had a similar problem. Try to install PC Companion on another machine (I done this using a VM to be more precisely) BEFORE plugging the phone into computer for the first time.

You definately don't need task killers for Android 2.3, but disagree on antivirus / malware software!

What's the use of having a smartphone if you cannot get more than just the stock apps! Unless you mean this is only to find if this is a hardware problem?

I have the same version, and use AVAST, and I had two reboots since I have upgraded to the *.75 release. I am a heavy user, so I think this is more of a software issue.

As the previous comments I hope these get sorted in the much anticipated ICS.

malware software? that's not an issue unless you are sideloading apps.

also settings -> applications uncheck unknown sources, as there are apps and websites that can install malware, but if you install apps from the market you are safe, and google has a malware search app. you do NOT need antivirus, this isn't a pc and it creates a LOT of issues.

The apps store (Play) is not the only access to media, how about web browsing, dowload, email + attachments, online storage, etc.

In addition, some of the apps on Play store are very dubious, and it's not the first time, some slip by Google's protection.

I only install apps from known and recommended sources, yet still feel the need to have a level of protection. Indeed the smartphone is now on the same level as a netbook / pc, and security will be incresingly more important as soon as the malware community will inevitable focus to exploit this medium.

It's naive to think that one will be exempt from these threats.
